Rainier Rhododendrons offers over 100 varieties of rhododendrons and azaleas including species, hybrid and dwarf rhododendrons. We seek out unique and popular varieties of rhododendrons and azaeleas. Our nursery is located in Rainier, Washington and serves customers throughout the Pacific Northwest including Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle and surrounding areas.

Nursery Hours of Operation:

Open from April through June 10th, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Open everyday all year when gate is open or by appointment. Please call first if you are coming from a distance to be sure someone is available to assist you.

Rhododendron Bloom and Planting Times

Typically the rhododendrons are in bloom at our location between end of April and mid June. Bloom times of rhododendrons vary by location and plants typically bloom earlier in the city. Rhododendrons can be transplanted any time of year under the right conditions but do best before and after they have bloomed. The American Rhododendron Society recommends early spring in cold climates and late summer to late fall in very warm climates.
